Comech Engineering recently installed two custom specified loading bays for a top mushroom producing company.

Seven tonne capacity dock levellers fully galvanized were installed along with 40mm thick insulated sectional loading bay doors. The bays were then fitted with adjustable head, dock seals so as to environmentally seal the bays during the loading process, the adjustable head seal being capable to cover a wide range of heights.

The dock levellers bridge the gap between the loading bay and the vehicle to make loading and uploading easier. The fully galvanized model should last the years beyond a standard painted finish and prove a good investment in the supply chain.

The insulated sectional doors used on the project offer a high level of insulation keeping in this case the cool air in and refrigeration costs to a minimum.

Comech Engineering offer several bay solutions with high levels of insulation, further they can be designed for good hygiene regimes through the use of stainless steel and other materials to withstand wash downs and steam cleans also by designing dirt traps and exterior.
